Tightening specifications

3.12.6 Coolant pump LT removal and installation (SL 215)
Previous tasks
Make sure that the following preconditions are met:
q LT cooling system is drained.
q Machinery LT cooling system piping is removed.
q Cover of torsional vibration damper is removed. (For more information see: 3.4.1 Vibration
damper cover removal and installation, page 58.) .
q Cover of battery charging alternator is removed.
Specific safety instructions
NOTICE
Risk of property damage by reuse of sealing.
Leaks by faulty seal.
u Replace all sealings.
Special tools
Make sure that the following special tools are available:
– Guiding rod M12x100 - coolant pump (x2)
Consumables and equipment
Make sure that the following consumables and equipment are available:
– Rags
– Cleaner
– Vaseline
