2.4 Voice Commands
Use this document as a guide to understand how to use
voice commands to monitor and control your Kohler
standby generator with OnCue Plus. Start by waking up
your smart device by saying “Alexa, ask OnCue Plus” or
“Hey Google, ask OnCue Plus.”
If your generator name has more than one word, pause
between the words when speaking to your Google
Assistant or Alexa smart devices.
If you have only ONE generator in your account, you can
refer to it by its name or say “my generator .” For
example, “Alexa, ask OnCue Plus to check active alerts
for my generator” or “Hey Google, ask OnCue Plus to
check the status of my generator .”
Sample Voice Commands
D What is the status of my generator?
D List my generators.
D Does my generator have any active alerts?
D What is the battery voltage?
D What is the oil temperature?
D What is the engine temperature?
D When was my last exercise?
D Start an exercise.
