15.1 Installation
Data transfer software and USB drivers:
Insert the data transfer software CD into the CD
drive and run the „setup.exe“ for installation of the
program. Follow the instructions on the screen.
As you connect the device to the USB port of the
computer, it is recognized by the system and the
hardware assistant opens:
1. Choose “Install from a list“ and click the button
“Next“. Then select the folder “USB Driver“ from the
data transfer software CD. The driver setup begins.
Note that if a window displays a choice of buttons to
“Continue Anyway“ or “Stop Installation“ click on
“Continue Anyway“. Click the “Finish“ button to
complete the installation of the 1st driver.
2. After short time the hardware assistant opens for
installation of the 2nd driver. Continue the
installation as described above by following the
instructions.
After the setup is completed for both drivers, open
the gloss-link report from the data transfer software
folder.
Bluetooth® :
For use of the Bluetooth connection, the Bluetooth
function of the instrument needs to be activated
(please refer to chapter 14.1).
To set up the instrument connection use the
Bluetooth™ manager of the computer. If a box
appears asking for the Bluetooth™ Passkey (PIN),
enter “0000“ for the instrument.
