Youmustinspectthesacricialwaterswitch(brassscrew)everymonth.
Prerequisites
Thefollowingitemsarerequired.
•AquaShield
•Brassscrew
Context
Thesensorisequippedwithasacricialbrasswater
switch.Itmakesthesensortobeactivatedonceitis
submerged.
Procedure
1Locatethebrassscrewatthebottomofthesensor.
2Inspectthescrewforwearandtear.
3Iftheheadofthescrewiscorroded,trytoremovethiswithasharpobjecttoachieve
maximumelectricalcontactwiththeseawater.
4Ifreplacementisrequired:
aApplyAquaShield(orsimilarunderwaterlubricant)toeveryscrewbefore
insertingit.
Duetothephysicalsizeofthetube,werecommendyoutoapplythegrease
fromasyringe
5Insertandtightenthescrew,rmlybutnottoohard.
Donotuseexcessiveforce.Maximumtorqueis1.5Nm.
