Whenthevaluefortheheightmeasurementpresentsanincorrectandcontinuousreading,
itmaybeindicatingthattheblankingzoneparameterisnotcorrectlysetup.
Prerequisites
TheTV80hasbeensetupwithitshardwareunitsconnectedasspeciedbytherelevant
installationinstructions.
Context
Wheneveryouwantacatchmonitoringsensortomeasureheight,youmustdenea
blankingzone.
Whenthesensorissetuptomeasureheightfromthemiddleofatrawldoor,thephysical
propertiesofthedoorcancausefalseechoesandhencewrongheightinformation.A
blankingzoneisa“blankspace”thatwillmakethesensordisregardallechoesreceived
fromobjectsinsidethedenedzone.
Procedure
1Connectthesensortothecomputerusingtheprogrammingcable.
2Ontheprocessorunitdesktop,double-clicktheTV80icontostarttheprogram.
3OntheSetupmenu,selectInstallation.
4IntheSensorlist,selectthesensoryouwanttocheckitscongurationparameters.
5SelectModifySensor.
6IntheveryrstPXSensorConguratordialogbox,selectcommunicationport
andsensortype,thenselectConnect.
TherelevantsensorConguratordialogboxopens.
7Checkthevaluedenedfortheblankingzoneoftheheightmeasurement.
8Ifnecessary,enternewvaluesbasedonyourknowledgeofthephysicallocationof
thesensorandthepropertiesofyourgear.
9SelectProgramSensortotransferthechosenparameterstothesensor.
