communication,theresultinginformationmaybeunstableorunreadable.
Prerequisites
TheTV80hasbeensetupwithitshardwareunitsconnectedasspeciedbytherelevant
installationinstructions.

TheTV80offersaspectrumanalyserthatshowsthesignalsfromeachhydrophone.The
graphintheSpectrumdialogboxprovidesyouwithinformationaboutthebackground
noiseandthesignalstrengthintheselectedfrequencyband.Withthisinformationyou
canidentifynoiseandndthe"cleanest"frequencies.Onthetopandbottompartsof
thegraph,thechannelidentierscorrespondtotherelevantreceiverchannel.Withthe
channelidentiersyoucaneasilyseeinwhichchannelsyouhavesignalsandnoise.
Thegraphplotsdatausinga16colourpalette.Redcolourcorrespondstothemaximum
valuedened,whileblueistheminimum.
Theupperscale(PI)identiesthechannelsforthePIFamilyreceivers.
