3.7 Removing from the tractor
• When removing the rotary swather, make sure that the ground is level and firm.
• When the rotary swather is being raised and lowered, make sure that no persons enter the
space between the tractor and the attachment.
• Switch off the engine. Remove the ignition key. Secure the machine from rolling away!
• Make sure that you observe all other safety instructions.
When storing the rotary swather unfold the jack stand
as follows:
• Pull pin (2) out of position I.
• Swing down jack stand (1).
• Install pin (2) in position I again.

Switch off the engine and remove the
ignition key. Protect the tractor from
rolling. Only then pull off the PTO
shaft.
The holding chains of the protective
tubes are not designed or suitable for
holding up the PTO shaft.
• Loosen the holding chain (6), pull off the PTO shaft
(3) and lay it on the PTO shaft support bracket (4).
• Uncouple hydraulic hose (5) from the tractor and
install the dust cap.
• Secure the rotary rake against rolling away by means
of wheel chocks (7).
• Uncouple the rotary swather from the tractor.
When the hydraulic hose is being
coupled to or uncoupled from the
tractor, the hydraulic system of both
the tractor and the mowing attachment
must be free from pressure. The
corresponding control valves must be
moved to float position.

Make sure that the prescribed lights are
used and safety measures are followed for
road transportation in daylight and at night.
A lighting attachment set can be obtained
from your KRONE dealer. The implement is
already equipped with standard mountings.
