Is the original set correctly?
Check that the original orientation is correct.
Is the proper language to extract selected?
Check the settings of the language to extract.

[Send/Store] > [Primary OCR Language]

Check the default language of the text to be extracted
If the language to be extracted is different, select the language to extract from the options on the touch
panel.
