The phx42 Gas Analyzer uses a flame ionization detector to analyze atmospheric samples containing
hydrocarbons. Sample gas is collected and passed through a H
2
flame and ions from combustion of the
sample are measured, recorded, and reported. Primary gas used for equipment calibration is Methane
in Air (various concentrations).
