Electrical System Operation
Power Distribution Panel
The power distribution panel (1), located in
a lower cabinet fascia, contains the 120 volt
breakers for the AC incoming power and 12 volt
fuses for the coach DC battery power. Refer to
your oor plan in the “Introductionsection for
the power distribution panel location.
The left side of the breaker panel (4) contains
120 volt AC breakers. Refer to the circuit
breaker panel decal to identify the function of
each breaker. The right side (3) houses 12 volt
DC fuses. Refer to the circuit fuse panel decal
to identify the function of each fuse.
120 Volt AC Circuit Breakers
The circuit breaker panel protects all 120 volt AC
equipment and components in the motorhome
from overload, a short in the wiring, or a short
in the component itself. In the event of an
overload, the circuit breaker cuts off the ow
of electricity in the system and helps prevent
damage or re.
If a circuit breaker “trips,” allow a brief cool
down period of 30–90 seconds, then reset the
breaker by turning it “OFF and then “ON. If
a circuit breaker “trips repeatedly, the circuit
is overloaded or there may be a short in the
wiring or in the equipment, and both should
be checked and serviced by qualied service
personnel. Refer to the converter and control
panel manuals in the Motorhome Information
Kit for further details.
NOTE: There is a single 30 amp main breaker
which protects the entire AC electrical
system. Check the main breaker if the entire
electrical system will not function on shore
power or generator (if equipped).
