–WhentheTrackPointpointingdeviceiskeptpressedforalongtime
–Whenthetemperaturechanges
•Problem:TheTrackPointpointingdeviceortrackpaddoesnotwork.
Solution:EnsurethattheTrackPointpointingdeviceortrackpadisenabledintheMouseProperties

Keyboardproblems
•Problem:Allorsomekeysonthekeyboarddonotwork.
Solution:Ifanexternalnumerickeypadisconnected:
1.Turnoffthecomputer.
2.Removetheexternalnumerickeypad.
3.Turnonthecomputerandtryusingthekeyboardagain.
Ifthekeyboardproblemisresolved,carefullyreconnecttheexternalnumerickeypad.
Iftheproblempersists,ensurethatthecorrectdevicedriverisinstalledbydoingthefollowing:
1.GotoControlPanel,andthenchangetheviewofControlPanelfromCategorytoLargeiconsor
Smallicons.
2.ClickKeyboard.
3.SelecttheHardwaretab.IntheDevicePropertiespane,makesurethatyouseethismessage:
DeviceStatus:Thisdeviceisworkingproperly.
Ifkeysonthekeyboardstilldonotwork,havethecomputerserviced.
•Problem:Allorsomekeysontheexternalnumerickeypaddonotwork.
Solution:Ensurethattheexternalnumerickeypadiscorrectlyconnectedtothecomputer.
Computerscreenproblems
•Problem:MyscreenkeepsblankingwhenIdonotwantitto.
Solution:Dothefollowing:
1.GotoControlPanel,andensurethatyouviewControlPanelbyCategory.
2.ClickHardwareandSound➙PowerOptions.
3.Showtheadditionalplans,andthenselectHighperformance.
•Problem:WhenIturnonthecomputer,nothingisdisplayedonthescreenandthecomputerdoesnot
beepwhilestartingup.
