Settingthemonitortypes
Tosetyourmonitortype,doasfollows:
ForWindows7:
1.Connecttheexternalmonitortothemonitorconnector,andthenconnectthemonitortoanelectrical
outlet.
2.Turnontheexternalmonitor.
3.Right-clickonthedesktop,andclickScreenresolution.
Note:Ifyourcomputercannotdetecttheexternalmonitor,clicktheDetectbutton.
4.Clicktheiconforthedesiredmonitor(theMonitor-2iconisfortheexternalmonitor).
5.SetResolution.
6.ClickAdvancedSettings.
7.ClicktheMonitortab.Checkthemonitorinformationwindowtomakesurethatthemonitortypeis
correct.Ifitis,clickOKtoclosethewindow;otherwisedoasfollows.
8.Ifmorethantwomonitortypesaredisplayed,selectGenericPnPMonitororGenericNon-PnP
Monitor.
9.ClickProperties.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministratorpasswordorconrmation,typethepassword
orprovideconrmation.
10.ClicktheDrivertab.
11.ClickUpdateDriver.
12.ClickBrowsemycomputerfordriversoftware,andthenclickLetmepickfromalistofdevice
driversonmycomputer.
13.CleartheShowcompatiblehardwarecheckbox.
14.SelectManufacturerandModelforyourmonitor.Ifyoucannotndyourmonitorinthelist,stopthe
installationofthisdriverandusethedrivershippedwithyourmonitor.
15.Afterupdatingthedriver,clickClose.
16.ClickOK.

Settings,selecttheMonitortab,thensetColors.
ForWindowsXP:
