•IfyourcomputerhastheIntel

graphicscard,youcandesignatetheotherdisplayastheprimarydisplay
bydoingthefollowing:
1.PressCtrl+Alt+Fn+F12.TheIntelGraphicsandMediaControlPanelwindowopens.
2.SelectAdvanceModeandclickOK.
3.ClickMultipleDisplay.
4.Selectthedesireddisplayastheprimarydisplay.
•WhenanapplicationusingDirectDraworDirect3Displayedinfull-screenmode,itisshownonlyonthe
primarydisplay.
•YoucannotusethedisplayswitchingfunctionwhenyouareintheExtenddesktopmode.
EnablingtheExtenddesktopfunction
ToenabletheExtenddesktopfunction,dothefollowing:
1.ConnecttheexternalmonitortotheMiniDisplayPortconnectororThunderboltconnector;thenconnect
themonitortoanelectricaloutlet.
2.Turnontheexternalmonitor.
3.PressF6,thenselectExtend.
Notes:
•IfthemonitorconnectorisnotcompatiblewiththeMiniDisplayPortconnectororThunderboltconnector
onyourcomputer,youcanuseaconvertcabletoestablishtheconnection.Convertcablesareavailable

•UseDisplayPortcertiedcablewithDisplayPorticon(
)toconnectthedeviceforstablefunctionality.
Tochangetheresolutionforeachmonitor,dothefollowing:
1.Right-clickonthedesktop,andclickScreenresolution.
2.ClicktheMonitor-1icon(fortheprimarydisplay,thecomputerdisplay).
3.Settheresolutionfortheprimarydisplay.
4.ClicktheMonitor-2icon(forthesecondarydisplay,theexternaldisplay).
5.Settheresolutionforthesecondarydisplay.
6.ClickOKtoapplythechanges.
Note:Tochangethecolorsettings,right-clickonthedesktop,andclickScreenresolution.ClickAdvanced
Settings,selecttheMonitortab,thensetColors.
