ToinstalltheRAID110ikey,dothefollowing:
Attention:InstallingtheupgradekeymightimpactyourRAIDconfigurations.Backupyourdatabefore
youbegintoavoidanydatalossduetoaRAIDconfigurationchange.
1.Removeallexternalmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,
disconnectallpowercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedto
theserver.
2.Prepareyourserver.See“Removingorextendingtheserverfromtherackcabinet”onpage65.
3.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage65.
4.Touchthestatic-protectivepackagethatcontainstheRAID110ikeytoanyunpaintedsurfaceonthe
outsideoftheserver.Then,taketheRAID110ikeyoutofthepackage.
