1.Removeallexternalmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,
disconnectallpowercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedto
theserver.

3.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage65.
4.Locatethecoin-cellbattery.See“Systemboardcomponents”onpage41.
Note:IfthereisanyPCIecardinstalledontherisercardassembly1,itmightblockyouraccessto
thecoin-cellbattery.Inthiscase,lifttherisercardassembly1sothatyoucanaccessthecoin-cell
battery.Donotdisconnectanycablesfromtherisercardassembly1orcompletelyremovetheriser
