4.ClickInstallnow.

9.Typetheamountofspace,andthenclickApply.

11.Ensurethatthedrivepartitioniscorrect,andthenclickNext.Theinstallationbegins.
12.InSettingswindow,typeyourpasswordandclickFinish.
13.Followtheinstructionsonthescreentologintotheoperatingsystemwhenprompted.
InstallingtheHyper-VServer2012operatingsystem

ToinstalltheHyper-VServer2012operatingsystem,dothefollowing:

3.Whenthe“MicrosoftHyper-VServer2012”windowisdisplayed,configurethelanguageandother
optionsyouneedandthenclickNext.
4.ClickInstallnow.
5.ReadthelicensetermsandselectIacceptthelicenseterms.ThenclickNext.
6.Selectthetypeofinstallationyouneed.ThefollowingstepsarebasedonthescenariothatCustom:
InstallthenewerversionofHyper-VServeronly(advanced)isselectedinthisstep.
7.Inthe“WheredoyouwanttoinstallWindows?”window,dependingontheSATAconfigurationon
yourserver,dooneofthefollowing:
•IfyourSATAconfigurationissetasRAID(bothOBRAIDandADDonRAID):dothefollowing:
a.ConnecttheUSBstoragedevicethatcontainsthedrivertoyourserverandclickLoadDriver.
b.ClickBrowsetolocatetherequireddriverandthenclickOK.
c.Inthe“Selectthedrivertobeinstalled”window,selectHidedriversthatarenotcompatible
withhardwareonthiscomputer.Selectthedriverthatyouwanttoinstall,andthenclickNext
toinstallthedriver.
•IfyourSATAconfigurationissetasAHCI:gotostep8.
8.Inthe“WheredoyouwanttoinstallHyper-VServer?”window,clickDriveoptions(advanced).
9.Selecttheharddiskdriveonwhichyouwanttoinstalltheoperatingsystem,andthenclickNew.
