5.2 OPERATING MODES
Stationary generator mode
In this operating mode, the brake chopper may only be operated with permanent
brake power (~BR permanent) or the permanent brake curent. The permissible
operating points of the machine (generator voltage UA, generator current ‚A) can be
obtained from the diagram in chapter 5.3.
Responding reversing and braking mode
In short-time operation, the controller may only be operated with peak brake power
<~BR peak)~ Therefore, Operation with the maximumarmature current is possible.
The smallest brake resistor must be used.
The r.m.s. value of the brake power (~BR) may not exceed the permanent brake
power. The calculation is as follows:
