all
devices.
-
Lead
the DC
bus
connections
of
the
devices,
terminals
±UG/RB1
and
-UG via
fuses
to one
central point.
Data
and
recommended
fuses
can
be
obtained
from
chapter 6.1.
The
fuses
must
be
able
to
interrupt
a
DC
current.
They
must
be
selected accordingly.
-
Motor
lines must
be
protected
by
overcurrent
releases.
Data
and
recommended
types
can
be
obtained
from
chapter
6.1.
Select
cross-sections
of
the
lines
according
to
the
suitable
fuses
and
VDE
0100.
-
The
mains
connection
of
the
devices must
be
according
to
the
rated
power
of
the
device.
Cross-sections
of
the
lines
and
fuses must
be
selected
according
to
VDE
(
0100.
-
Every
controller
must
be
connected
to
a
suitable
balaneing choke, since
the
internal
mains
input
rectifier
have
different
on-state
voltages.
Use
two-pole
chokes.
(see
6.2).
Take care of the
mains
chokes
contacts.
-
A
simultaneous
mains
connection
of
all
devices
must
be

OPERATION
WITH
BRAKE
CHOPPER
The
brake
chopper
of
the
connectedcontrollers
may
be
operated
with
specific
permanent
brake
power
(~BR
peak>
or the suitable
permanent
brake
current
(‚BR
peak)
(see
5.1>.
The
actual
brake
power
results
from
the
total
power
of
the
DC
bus
connection.
The brake
power
is
the
positive
difference
between
the
total
of
all
drives,
either
operating
in
the
generator
or
the
motor
mode.
If
a
negative
difference
results,
the
drives
operating
in
the
motor
mode
are
dominant
and
the
system
must
consume
power
from
the
mains.
For
overcurrent
release see
chapter
5.4.3.
