Connect moving coif ammeterto armature 1 ne
For shunt motors: Disconnect fieid when no voltage is applied;
For permanent magnet motors: lock the motor shaft.
Provide maximum reference.
Caution: Observe limited current capacity when motor is at standstill!
- Connect mains, LEDs ± Vcc and IMP are lit. Close switch RFR, LED IMP is not lit
any more.
- LED ‚max is lit. Turn trimmer ‚max clockwise, until the desired armature current
flows.
- Open switch RFR
- Disconnect mains
- Connect field or or unlock motor shaft.
7.2 SPEED CONTROL WITH TACHO FEEDBACK
Feedback of actual value signal as described under 4.2.4.

- Set reference via potentiometer or master voltage to 0V.
- Open switch RFR, connect mains.
- LEDs IMP and ± Vcc are illuminated.
- Set reference via potentiometer or master voltage to maximum (± 10 to 120V).
- Set a voltage of 10V at measuring point Ml via trimmer ULeIt. (For Ml see signal
terminals at the front>
- Then set reference to approx. 10% of final value.
- Close switch RFR, LED IMP is not lit any more.
