8. SURVEILLANCEAND INDICATIONS
The 520 series has different protective funtions against non-permissible operating
states. If a fault is displayed, the controller is alvvays inhibited.
Electrical Iatching prevents an automatic reconnection after removing the cause of
fault. The drive is enabled only after trip reset.
8.1 TRIP RESET
Trip can only be reset by disconnecting and reconnecting the mains.
8.2 SURVEILLANCES
A fault indication is displayed by the LEDs TRIP and IMP (see 8.4.1).
- Overvoltage in the DC bus
- Undervoltage in the DC bus
- Overheat of heatsink: Heatsink in the area of power semi-conductors has
exceeded the limit temperature.
- Short circuits at the outputs A and B
- Earth fault protection: This function is used to protect thetransistor power stage
when the armature circuit has an earth fault.
