Data transmission limits
The data transmission limits are defined by the number of telegrams per time interval and the data
transmission rate.
• You can ascertain these limits when exchanging data in a DC bus connection which includes
only Lenze drive controllers/PLCs by adding code C0361/1 of all participating devices.
• Example: Three drive controllers are interconnected via the system bus:
Value of C0361/1 at drive controller 1: 23.5% bus load
Value of C0361/1 at drive controller 2: 12.6% bus load
Value of C0361/1 at drive controller 3: 16.0% bus load
52.1% total bus load
Tip!
• The bus load for all participating devices should not exceed 80% .
• If other devices are connected, such as decentralised inputs and outputs, their telegrams
must also be taken into account.
• A bus overload can, for instance, be caused by the event-controlled transmission of
continuously changing signals.
Remedy:
Change the cycle time setting for CAN2_OUT or CAN3_OUT accordingly so that the total bus
load does not exceed 80 % .
