CONNECTING EXTERNAL DEVICES
Connecting an HD
Receiver, DVD Player,
or VCR
Connect an HD receiver, DVD, or
VCR player to Laser TV and select an
appropriate input mode.
• Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• An external audio device that
supports SIMPLINK and ARC must
be connected using HDMI input 1
(ARC) port.
• When connected with a high-
speed HDMI

cable, the external
audio device supporting ARC
outputs optical SPDIF works with
the SimpLink function without
additional optical audio cable.
NOTE
HDMI connection
With an HDMI cable, you can enjoy high
quality picture and sound. Connect the
HDMI input port of Laser TV to the HDMI
output port.
Press the INPUT button on the remote
control to select HDMI. You can use any
HDMI input port for connection.
