3. Outdoor Unit Selection
In general, outdoor unit may be selected as follows, though the location of the unit, and usage of the room, etc.
should be considered.
The combination of indoor and outdoor unit was to be decided that the sum of indoor unit capacity index should
be smaller than the connectable capacity index of outdoor unit. 2 or 3 indoor units can be connected to one outdoor
unit. It is recommended to choose a large capacity outdoor unit if the installation space is large enough.
The combination table below indicates the recommended combinations. Combinations other than those
mentioned in the table below are also possible within a ratio of 125%. For the performance of combinations not indi-
cated in the combination table, you can refer to the performance of the total capacity model provided in the PDB.
Ex) In case the requested combination is 12+12+12 = 36, you can refer to the combination table of the 9+9+18
model that is provided in the PDB.
