Malfunction table of rear suspension
Break in balance shaft
housing
Replace the balance shaft
housing and components and
assemble it according to the
above procedures.

Check center bolt for break,
and replace it in time; or
check and retighten U-bolt

The modified or replaced parts may not
be applicable to the suspension of this
model, which would lead to unnecessary
fault and loss.
b. Frequently check the following parts:
check upper/lower push rod and the connecting
bolts for damage and looseness. Check stop
block for dropping, leaf spring for break or
dislocation and leaf spring pressure block
for crack.
c. After running-in period, it is required to
check the bearing clearance (0.1mm~0.6mm) of
balance shaft of the new vehicle once, and do
an adjustment to the bearing clearance.
Remove the end cover of balance shaft,
unscrew the lock nut and bolt, then use a fork
wrench with an opening of 120 mm to tighten
the lock nut and bolt, clean the joint surface,
install end cover of balance shaft, and
tighten the bolts.

! CAUTION: Do not remove balance
shaft housing till the sealing ring is
in failure so as to prevent the ring
from being damaged during removal.
