Malfunction table of rear suspension
Oil leakge due to
sealing failure of
balance shaft
housing cover
Clean the balance shaft housing
cver and ensure good cntact
flatness with shaft housing.
Replace the U-ring and do the
assembly. Replace the balance
shaft housing cover and assemble
it according to the above
procedures.
M16×1.5 bolts on
both ends of
balance shaft
getting broken
Replace the bolts, apply thread
locker on new bolts, tighten them
to required torque, lock the stop
washer, and install the balance
shaft housing cover. Assemble it
according to the above
procedures.
Replace the whole set of bearing
and adjust the bearing clearance to
prevent bearing from breaking
again due to local stress of bearing
caused by axial transmission of
shaft housing. Assemble it
according to the above
procedures.
Oil leakage due to
sealing ring failure
Replace the sealing ring. For
specific procedures, refer to
paragraph a. Removal, installation
and adjustment of balance
suspension assembly.

● Check bearing for crack or damage;
● Parts within repair or wear limit should
be replaced before reaching the limit.
● Removed parts may be stained by oil dirt
and sludge; therefore it is required to clean
them with coal oil before reassembly.
● According to the procedure described
above, do the reassembly and add specified
lubricating oil from oil filler to required
level.

a. Suspension is an essential component of
vehicle load-carrying system. Once a damaged
part is found, please get it removed at a
service station in time, otherwise it may
accelerate the damage of other parts and even
lead to serious vehicle accident.

ones of different thickness without

not modify the suspension structure
