5,000km, check all bolts of balance
suspension assembly once, and fill the system
with GL-5 85W/90 heavy duty gear oil from the
oil filler on balance shaft housing. Do such
maintenance every 5,000km thereafter. In
case of poor road condition, the mileage
interval should be shortened to keep your
vehicle in good operating condition.
e. Besides handling mandatory maintenance,
retighten the nut of bolt every 1,500-2,000
km according to specified torque
requirements.
f. Remember to fill balance bearing seat with
gear oil to reduce the wear of shaft and
bushing.
g. Paint lubricating grease around the leaf
spring and the sliding plate every 8,000 to
10,000km. Use the adjusting shim to adjust
the clearance between guide plate and leaf
spring to be 0~1mm;
h. The normal wear limit life of guide plate
and slide plate seat is half a year. If they
are in serious wear, replace them immediately.
If slide plate seat appears as shown left, it
indicates it is in severe wear.
