paragraph of service and maintenance, when
the vehicle is in heavy load carrying
condition, the dry friction of bearing will
generate overburning which finally may lead
to bearing to get broken.
b. If the bearing clearance is not adjusted
and the bearing lock bolt or nut is not
checked and tightened according to the
requirements in paragraph of Service and
Maintenance, when the vehicle is in heavy
load carrying condition, the clearance may
increase, the amplitude of axial float
becomes larger and the bearing is locally
under stress, which finally leads to bearing
to get broken.
4) Solutions: After bearing gets broken, it
must be replaced irrespective of reasons. For
specific procedures, refer to paragraph a.
Removal, installation and adjustment of
balance suspension assembly.
5) Cause analysis for bracket cracks and
break
If the connecting bolts of bracket and frame
are not timely checked according to the
requirements in paragraph of Service and
Maintenance, when the vehicle is in heavy
load carrying condition, the bracket is under
severe stress condition which will lead to
bracket cracking and final breaking.
