Braking system
DANGER
Your forklift truck should not be used under any
circumstances if the braking system is defective.
Should you notice any defects or wear to the bra-
king system, please contact your authorised dealer
at once.
Hydraulic operating brake / Stop pedal
The Stop pedal (2) positioned between the
accelerator pedals is used for hydraulic oper-
ation of the multi-disc brake.
NOTE
It is recommended that drivers familiarise
themselves with the function and action of this
brake without any load on the forklift truck. For
this purpose they should chose a route without
any other traffic, travelling at a low speed.

¾ Operate Stop pedal (2).
The braking action will be greater or smaller
depending on how hard the Stop pedal is
pressed.
NOTE
For an emergency stop, press hard on the
"STOP "pedal (2) . This will result in full appli-
cation of the brake.
NOTE
Release of the accelerator pedals (1 and 3)
into neutral allows the braking action to be
carefully controlled, from gentle to hard brak-
ing .
¾ Let the accelerator pedals (1 and 3) move
into neutral.
Regenerative brake
¾ Release the accelerator pedal already
pressed and press the accelerator pedal
for the opposite direction until the forklift
truck has been electrically braked.
