¾ Pull belt (2) right out and check for fraying.
¾ Check proper functioning of catch lock (3)
and perfect pull-in of belt.
¾ Check cover pieces for damage.
Test automatic blocking mechanism.
¾ Park truck in a horizontally position.
¾ Pull out belt with a jerk.
The automatic mechanism should block pull-
out of the belt from the belt retractor (1) .
WARNING
Do not use industrial trucks if the restraining belt
is defective. After an accident restraining belts
must be replaced. In the case of restraining belts
mounted on the driver’s seat , the driver’s seat and
fastening of the driver’s seat must also be checked
by specialist staff after an accident. Screwed con-
nections should be checked regularly for secure
positioning. If a seat wobbles, this may be due to
loose screwed connections or other defects. Any
failure to comply involves a possible injury to your
health and an increased risk of accidents.
If you notice any discrepancies in the functioning of
the seat (e.g. seat bouncing) or the restraining belt,
you should immediately contact your authorised
dealer to eliminate the cause.
To avoid any injury to the back, the weight
setting should be adjusted according to the in-
dividual weight of the driver whenever starting
up the truck or changing drivers.
