11.8 TransportMode(StaticandActive)

Static Transport Mode allows disconnecting the mattress from the SCU for transporting the bed. Pressure in the static

part of the mattress stabilizes for 8 hours.

NOTE In Static Transport Mode, alternating pressure therapy is not possible.

To activate Static Transport Mode:

 

 

11.8.1 Active Transport Mode

Active Transport Mode allows the patient being transported in bed to continue to receive ALT or CLP therapy. See Accu-

mulator - chapter 12 (only available on Accumulator Back-up ready SCU).

To activate Active Transport Mode:

 Turn on the Accumulator power switch.

 Disconnect mains plug from wall outlet.
