6.1 Need to extend a minimum of 2 ¼" past the end of the standard hangers and ½" past the end of
torsion hangers.

Crush Tubes Taller Than 2" including Extended Length Crush Tubes
6.2 Standard length crush tubes ≤ 4" require a 2x2 - 11ga cross tube support at the front and rear of the
crush tube, also require two full height XMs in the axle area.
Note: Standard length crush tubes ≥ 5" require a 2x4 -11ga cross tube support at the front and rear of the
crush tube, also require two full height XMs in the axle area.
Note: Crush tube taller than 6" needs Lippert management approval.
The Extended Length Crush Tube
6.3 Start a minimum of 12" in front hanger or riser tube and extend 40% of the rear overhang. It also needs
to be rounded up to the nearest 12" increment.
Note: Extended length crush tubes ≥ 4" require a 2x2 - 11ga cross tube supports at the front and rear of
the axle area and extended length crush tubes ≥ 5" require a 2x4 - 11ga at the front and rear of the
axle area.
Chassis w/ Crush Tube
6.4 That are either a triple axle or using axles rated ≥ 8K, crush tube is required to be 7ga.
