Up Speed Control The control valve (#1), regulates the speed in which the pelvic cushion travels up. Turning the valve clockwise will
decrease the speed, and turning in a counter clockwise direction will increase the speed.
Down Speed Control The control valve (#2) regulates the speed in which the pelvic cushion travels down. Turning the valve clockwise will
decrease the speed, and turning in a counter clockwise direction will increase the speed.
CAUTION!! To avoid possible injury or discomfort, the following precautionary steps should be taken before
operating the auto flexion.
1) The flexion handle (page 10, #4) should be up (parallel with floor) in the lock position.
2) The lateral side-bending handle (page 10, # 5) should be down in lock position.
3) The rotation handle (page 13. # 1) should be pulled forward into lock position.
4) Run auto flexion without a patient, to adjust depth and speed.
