Chapter 1. General Information
1.1. Introduction
The Fieldbook E1 is a rugged tablet based on the TI
®
OMAP platform
(OMAP4460). This high-performance tablet features a bright 10.1”
LED-backlit LCD display and runs on Google
®
Android
®
operating system.
The Fieldbook E1 has been engineered and tested to meet military
(MIL-STD810G) and industrial (IP65) standards. The following features
make it exceptionally rugged, durable and ideal for the rigors of field work:
