WARNING
The seat belt should be replaced if the webbing becomes frayed,
contaminated or damaged. Not checking or maintaining seat
belts can result in serious injury or death if they do not work
properly when needed. Check all the belts regularly and have
any problem corrected immediately
Footwell Mats
Use only correctly secured Lotus approved carpet mats in
the footwells. Floor coverings made from plastic or other non-
breathable materials may trap moisture and initiate surface
corrosion of the footwell floors. Any damage caused by the use
of incorrect mats will not be covered by the New Vehicle War-
ranty.
Sill Trim
Note that the leather sill trim covers will be subjected to wear
and tear during the normal course of cabin access, and may
require periodic replacement dependent on the level of use and
the owner’s preference.
Door Lock
It is recommended to operate, periodically, the left hand exte-
rior door key lock in order to check and maintain its functionality,
should this ever be required. A special lock grease, delivered by
aerosol, will maintain smooth and reliable operation. Your Lotus
dealer will be pleased to advise.
