TROUBLESHOOTING
Pico S8 Module
PROBLEM
Solid Green status light.
No Indicator Light on S8.
Solid red light on Pico S8.
Flashing Red status light.
Physical Switch
PROBLEM
Physical switch not activating Poco Virtual
Switch.
Physical switch not illuminating.
CAUSE
Pico S8 is powered and enabled within
Poco.
Check 10-30 VDC is supplied to red wire
and ground wire connected.
Pico S8 has power but is not
communicating with Poco. Poco may not
be powered or is not congured for Pico S8.
Pico S8 not assigned to a slot in Poco.
CAUSE
- Check Status light on Pico S8. Light
should be Green.
- Check if corresponding virtual switch
within Poco App (on mobile device or
MFD) is turning on/off.
- Check color wire going to S8 .
Does the switch illuminate momentarily
when Poco is booting up?
SOLUTION
No action needed.
- Check power for 10-30 VDC.
- Check fuse is not broken.
- Check GRND wire .

Yes - Check conguration is set to “Normal
(State)” Output Signal Type.
Yes - Check wire is assigned an Action,
and/or Poco Virtual Switch.
No- Check wiring for reverse-polarity.
No - Check S8 and physical switches are
connected to the same power-supply.
