The new Windows PC program Lxe is able to adapt the communication speed automatically. The old DOS
programs (LXGPS and LXFAI) are not able to do that.
3.1.2.8 DEL TP/TSK
After Y all turnpoints and tasks will be permanently deleted.
3.1.2.9 POLAR
Polars of nearly all gliders are in the library. To select them simply rotate v to the right and the gliders will appear.
The parameters a, b, and c of the glider polar can be calculated very simple by pilot, if the glider polar is not found
in the library. After LXPOLAR program is started and three points of the polar (Apr. 100 km/h, 130 km/h, 150
km/h) are entered, the parameters are calculated automatically. The LXPOLAR is delivered on the CD together with
LXe. There is space for two USER polars (rotate v to the left).
Name „user“ can of course be replaced with the glider’s name.
3.1.2.10 LOAD
Normally the ballast setting is brought to minimum after the LX 7000 has been switched off. Using setting
SWITCH ON LOAD: SET, the load setting will remain the same as the last setting done in the previous flight.
