Lynx Mixer Reference
6.5 Mixer Menu
The Mixer menu, located at the top left of the screen, allows selection of global mixer functions.
2@ Restore Defaults
This option restores all user-selectable parameters to factory default settings. This feature should be used as
a first step when mixer settings issues are encountered.
2# Mixer Scene
This feature provides the ability to save and recall all user-selectable parameters. “Scenes” that contain the
state of all mixer settings can be saved to scene memory. Scenes may be recalled to quickly reconfigure the
mixer.
Scene memory is global to all users on a single computer and is initially empty. There is no limit to the
number of scenes that can be stored.
When the Mixer Scene option is selected, a dialog box will appear that lists stored scenes and allow entry
of new scenes. Restore, Save, and Delete buttons handle scene management as follows:
Restore
– To restore a scene from memory, select the scene name from the list, and then click the
Restore button. The scene will be instantly recalled from memory and all mixer parameters will be
restored to the saved state.
Save
– To save a scene into memory, type the name of the scene into the Edit Window, then click
the Save button. The current mixer parameters will be stored into scene memory. Selecting an
existing scene name and clicking the Save button will overwrite that scene with the current
parameters.
Delete
– To delete a previously saved scene from memory, select the scene name from the list and
click the Delete button. The Mixer Scene dialog box will remain open to allow further
editing/deleting of scenes.
NOTE: When the computer is shut down, the current mixer state is saved. When the computer is restarted,
the mixer state is restored. This function is independent of Mixer Scene operation.
