D Relax V-belt and take it off the alternator pulley,
see page 138
D Disconnect earth cable from battery

Disconnect connectors B+ and B− from alternator.
Disconnect connectors D+ and W (plug) from alter-
nator.
Alternator − 120 A bottom left

Loosen the mounting bolts at the front of the
bracket.

Loosen the mounting bolts at the back of the
bracket.
Remove the alternator.
Alternator − 55 A at heat exchanger

Remove the alternator.
