Checking procedure: Engine does not
start.

Check battery voltage on control unit during
starting procedure.
Min. value: 17 V direct voltage
Otherwise exchange battery or reduce voltage
drop in the supply line.

Check speed pickup signal on control unit during
starting procedure.
Min. value: 0.8 V alternating current
Otherwise check distance “d” of speed pickup, if
necessary correcting it, see page 147.
If distance “d” is correct, but the voltage still too
low, disconnect cable from terminals “C” and “D”
on the control unit and measure the resistance
between both cables.
Correct value: 150 - 200 W
If value deviates, exchange speed pickup.
