Draining coolant
Carry out operations on the cooling system
only if the coolant temperature is below 50
°C.
Before proceeding with draining the cool-
ant, cover the cables, piping, etc, present
under the drain screw, and place a suitable
sized container to hold the quantity of
liquid to be drained.
Open the engine bonnet.
Open the cooling system cap G2/1 of the
engine slowly, discharge the overpressure
and then remove the cap.
Open the panel G2/2 under the drain plug
G2/3.
Set a container under drain plug G2/3 on
the radiator and drain plug G2/4 of the
engine block and loosen them.
Take drain hose G2/5.
Place the end of the drain hose in the con-
tainer and screw the hose fully to the drain
connector G2/3.
Let the cooling circuit drain entirely while
ensuring that the ports do not get clogged.
Check the condition of the hoses as well as
the fastening devices and change the hoses
if necessary.
Rinse the circuit with clean water and use a
cleaning agent if necessary.
Replace the silicate cartridge

Clean the coolant from the sealing surface on
the pump body, using a lint-free cloth.
Clean the coolant pump near the silicate
cartridge G2/6.

Scarico del liquido di raffreddamento
Eseguire gli interventi sull’impianto di raf-
freddamento solo se la temperatura del
liquido di raffreddamento è inferiore a 50
°C.
Prima di procedere allo scarico coprire i
cavi, le tubazioni ecc. presenti sotto la vite
di scarico sistemandovi sotto un recipiente
di dimensioni adeguate alla quantità di
liquido da raccogliere.
Aprire il cofano motore.
Aprire lentamente il tappo dell’impianto di
raffreddamento G2/1 del motore, far scari-
care la sovrappressione, quindi rimuovere
il tappo.
Aprire lo sportellino d’accesso G2/2 sotto il
tappo di scarico G2/3.
Mettere un recipiente sotto il tappo di sca-
rico G2/3 del radiatore e il tappo di scarico
G2/4 del blocco motore e allentarli.
Prendere il tubo di scarico G2/5.
Collocare l’estremità del tubo di scarico nel
recipiente e avvitare a fondo il tubo sul rac-
cordo dello scarico G2/3.
Far svuotare completamente il circuito di
raffreddamento, controllando che gli orifizi
non si intasino.
Verificare lo stato delle tubazioni in gomma
e delle fascette di fissaggio, sostituire le
tubazioni in gomma se necessario.
Sciacquare il circuito con acqua pulita e
utilizzare un prodotto detergente in caso
di necessità.
Sostituzione della cartuccia di silicato

Pulire la superficie di tenuta sul corpo della
pompa del liquido di raffreddamento con un
panno senza pelucchi.
Pulire la pompa del liquido di raffredda-
mento in corrispondenza della cartuccia di
silicato G2/6.

Spuszczanie płynu chłodzącego
Prace związane z układem chłodzenia
można wykonywać dopiero wtedy, gdy
temperatura płynu chłodzącego jest niższa
niż 50 °C.
Przed rozpoczęciem spuszczania przykryć
kable, przewody rurowe, itp. znajdujące się
pod śrubą spustową i ustawić tam zbior-
nik o wymiarach dostosowanych do ilości
płynu, jaki ma być zebrany.
Otworzyć maskę silnika.
Powoli otwierać korek układu chłodzenia
G2/1 silnika, aby obniżyć w nim ciśnienie i
następnie wyjąć korek.
Otworzyć klapkę G2/2 pod korkiem
spustowym G2/3.
Umieścić pojemnik pod korkiem spustowym
G2/3 chłodnicy i pod korkiem spustowym
G2/4 bloku silnika, a następnie odkręcić
korki.
Wziąć przewód spustowy G2/5.
Końcówkę przewodu spustowego umieścić
w pojemniku i dokręcić maksymalnie prze-
wód na złączce otworu spustowego G2/3.
Pozwolić, aby płyn całkowicie wypłynął i
upewnić się, czy otwory nie są zatkane.
Sprawdzić stan przewodów gumowych oraz
opasek mocujących i, jeśli jest to konieczne,
wymienić przewody.
Przepłukać układ czystą wodą i, w razie pot-
rzeby, użyć detergentu.
Wymiana wkładu krzemionkowego
MRT 3255
Powierzchnię uszczelki pompy płynu chłodzą-
cego wyczyścić szmatką niepozostawiającą
włókien.
Wyczyścić pompę płynu chłodzącego w
strefie wkładu krzemionkowego G2/6.
