13. Install the four leveling bolts (93) and eight nuts (28) to
the boom nose.
14. Attach the opposite end of the two tele 4 retract cables
(131) to the telescope cylinder sheave mounting
weldment (136) using the capscrews (149) and flat
washers (148) (see Figure 4-31).
Using tie wraps or suitable straps, temporarily secure
the cables (131) to the cylinder.
15. Slide the telescope cylinder (6) into tele 4 (5) being
careful not to pinch or cross any cables.
NOTE: Temporarily insert a block of wood to support the
cylinder so that the cables do not get damaged.
16. Mount the wear pad assembly (134) to each side of the
bottom rear of tele 4 (5) using the two capscrews (124)
and lock washers (25) (see Figure 4-33).
17. Mount the wear pad assembly (128) to the bottom rear
of tele 4 (5) using the two capscrews (124).
18. Install the two sets of tele 4 extend cables (109, 110) to
each side of the rear of tele 4 (5); secure each set of
cables to tele 4 (5) using the cable anchor (129) and
capscrew (130) (see Figure 4-33).
19. Using tie wraps or belt straps, temporarily secure the
cables (109, 110) together, then secure the set of cables
to the side of the telescope cylinder (6) (left and right
sides).
20. Position tele 3 (4) up side down and behind tele 4 (5); set
tele 3 (4) on adequate supports.
