sheave guard weldment (97) and sheave assembly (96)
in place using the shaft weldment (98), bolt (99), and
lock washer (25) (left and right sides) (see Figure 4-46).
75. Install the grease fitting (106) into the shaft weldment
(98) (left and right sides). Add grease until the grease
extrudes through the sheaves.
76. Install the trunnion plate (60) onto the front square lug of
the telescope cylinder (6) (left and right sides) (see
Figure 4-47).
77. Attach the trunnion plate (60) to the inside of tele 2 (3)
using the five bolts (62) and flat washers (61) (left and
right sides) (see Figure 4-48).
78. Being careful not to cross the cables, install the two tele
3 extend cables (150), labeled 2 and 5, into the anchor
plate (73) and secure in place using the plate cover (84),
two bolts (85), and two lock washers (25) (see
Figure 4-49).
79. Being careful not to cross the cables, install the four tele
3 extend cables (150), labeled 1, 3, 4, and 6, into the
anchor plate (73) and secure in place using the plate
cover (84), two bolts (85), and two lock washers (25)
(see Figure 4-49).
80. Attach hooks and chains to the holes in the anchor plate
(73) and pull on the anchor plate until all six tele 3 extend
cables (150) seat themselves into the anchor plate (see
Figure 4-50).
NOTE: All boom sections may extend slightly when pulling
on the tele 3 extend cables (150).
