Replacing the FX wheel
MAC Viper Profile has a motorized FX wheel that provides gobo animation effects and integrated gobos.

To replace the FX wheel:
1. Disconnect the fixture from power and allow it to cool for 30 minutes.
2. Remove the head covers, position the head with the front glass angled downwards and the top side
facing upwards, and apply the tilt lock (see “Access to the head” on page 17).
3. See Figure 24. Unhook the projection and color mixing module wiresets from their cutout A in the
zoom/focus module chassis and unplug the two projection module connectors B and two color mixing
module connectors C from their PCB D. Note that the PCB is marked with connector names.
