more eshy area
Conrm sensor is not
wrapped too tightly
Replace sensor if not
resolved
Confirm emitter is
aligned directly over
detector
Remove from any direct
light (cover sensor)
Change the site of
sensor (eg. foot vs digit)
Conrm site of
sensor is warm
Conrm site is well
perfused and has
unrestricted blood ow
Try on parent or
caregiver’s nger
