Front/rear shock absorber adjustment
The spring preload can be adjusted to suit
rider’s weight and tiding concisions.
NOTE:
When adjusting the rear shock absorbers, the
mar wheels need to be removed. (See pages
8-34 — 8-35 for removal and installation
procedures.)
Spring Adjustment Principles:
Only the driver drives on the flat road,
adjusting the shock absorber to be a little
softer.
Driving with high speed or matching on the flat
road, adjusting the shock absorber to be a
little hard.
On off-road, adjusting the shock absorber to
be a little hard.
At full load, adjusting the shock absorber to be
hard.

Uneven adjustment can cause poor handling
and loss of stability, which could lead to an
accident.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Always adjust the shock absorbers on the left
and right side to the same setting.
