Check the operation of all switches. Have a

dealer repair as necessary for proper

operation.

Throttle lever

Check to see that the throttle lever operates

correctly. It must open smoothly and spring

back to the idle position when released.

Have a dealer repair as necessary for proper

operation.

Fittings and fasteners

Always check the tightness of chassis fittings

and fasteners before a ride. Take the

machine to a dealer or refer to the Service

Manual for correct tightening torque.

Lights

Check the headlights and tail/brake light to

make sure they are in working condition.

Repair as necessary for proper operation.

Switches

Idling

High idle speed will cause the engine gear

damage. High idle speed may be caused by

the damage of throttle cable, or may be due

to the ECU failure.

As the ATV is equipped with EFI system, idle

speed adjustment should be done through a

special computer, which can modify the ECU

procedure. Check with dealer if necessary.

NOTICE:

The EFI system ECU takes about 1 minute

for system self-checking after every turn on.

Please check the idle speed after 1 minute.

Turn-off Switch:

Ensure that the switch can turn off the

engine.
