Last Number Redial
What’s this?
This feature redials the last external number dialed.
This feature saves time during retrying a busy external number.
How to use it?
Timer of Relevance:
Redial Digit Wait Timer-It signifies the time for which the system waits once the user dials ‘7’.
Command: 217-36-Seconds.
Default: 02 seconds.
Valid Range: 01-99 seconds.
Important Point:
The system uses the same trunk you used for dialing the number last time.
Message Wait
What’s this?
The PROTON 206/308 supports this feature if Matrix VMS viz. Cadence is interfaced with it.
Whenever there is a new message in the mailbox of the mailbox owner, the Cadence sends a string of digits
to the PROTON-206/PROTON-308 to inform about it.
The PROTON 206/308 changes the dial tone of the relevant extension to feature tone.
How to program?
No special programming is required for this feature. It is allowed to all the stations.

What’s this?
Whenever a person is put on hold or while his call is being transferred, the person gets music.

Operator
What’s this?
Operator is a person who handles more number of calls at a time. She acts a link between the caller and the
called person.
Any station can be interpreted as Operator.
The PROTON 206/308 offers two types of operator stations:
1 Lift the handset. Dial tone
2Dial 7. Silence.
3 The system grabs a trunk. Trunk dial tone
4
The PROTON-206/PROTON-308 dials out the last
number.
