and/or which exceed the applicable maximum work piece height for the 
respective cut.
•  Make sure that there are no nails or other debris in the parts of the work 
piece to be cut.
5.  Keep onlookers away from the work area and also away from the area 
behind the saw where the saw dust and cut-os are ejected.
6.  The oor around the machine must be level, clean and free of loose 
particles such as wood chips and cuttings.
7.  Make sure that the work area or room is properly lighted.
8.  Make sure that the table and mitre saw cannot be operated by 
children.
9.  Never switch the saw on if you have not removed all objects except 
for the work piece and any required holding xtures from the 
machine bench.
10. Production of noise: When using motorised machines, it is 
recommended to wear ear protection.
11. To prevent being suddenly drawn into the saw blade:
•  Do not wear gloves.
•  Take off any jewellery and loose clothing.
•  If you have long hair, wear a hair net.
•  Roll long sleeves up over your elbows.
12. To avoid accidents caused by the saw accidentally starting, be 
absolutely sure to pull the mains plug before performing any 
adjustments and maintenance on the guide or saw head such as 
changing the saw blade or accessories.
13. Do not leave the saw unattended. Always switch o the device and 
only leave it once the tool has come to a complete stop.
14. To avoid electrical shock when inserting the plug in the socket, do not 
touch the metallic contacts on the plug.
15. Do not use the cord to pull the plug out of the socket. Protect the cord 
against heat, oil and sharp edges.
16. Never apply a cleaner or lubricant to the saw blade if it is still rotating.
17. To prevent re, do not operate the saw near ammable liquids, 
vapours or gases.
18. Only use accessories that are also specied in the user manual.
19. Only use the recommended saw blades (no HSS saw blades).
