Oil pan Assembly Note
1. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant to the
oil pan as indicated in the figure.
Caution
• Install the oil pan within 10min of
applying the silicone sealant
• Make sure that there is no oil or dust on
the seal side of oil pan.
2. Use a square ruler to unite the oil pan and the
cylinder block junction side on the engine front
cover side.
3. Tighten the rear oil pan bolts in the order as
shown in the figure.
Tightening torque
17—23 N·m
{1.8—2.3 kgf·m, 12.6—16.9 ft·lbf}
