McAfee NS Series - Remove an interface module

Install the interface module on an up and running Sensor
This section provides the steps to install the interface module on a Sensor which is up and running.
Task
1
Power on the Sensor without inserting the pluggable module(s) into the slot(s).

Establish trust between the Sensor and the Manager.
3
Grip the sides of the module with your thumb and
forenger and insert the module into the slot.
4
Wait for 5 minutes.
5
Reboot the Sensor from the CLI.
Remove an interface module
Perform these steps if you need to remove an interface module.
Task
1
Disconnect the network ber optic cable from the module.
2
Remove the transceivers from the module.
3
Unscrew the interface modules to detach them from the Sensor.
4
Place the module into its protective packaging.
